Auditioners should prepare and memorize a 1-2 minute Shakespeare
monologue; they may choose one of their own or one from the Workshop
Monologues. In addition, take a look at the posted Audition Scenes;
these do not have to be memorized, but you should read them ahead of
time so you will be prepared. The text of the play is posted for
your use; we strongly suggest that you read through the script
before auditions.

hands-on workshop designed for the amateur or early career actor who
wants to expand his/her skills and venture into more challenging
classical roles. The workshop is open to the public and free of
charge.

For the workshop:
Participants should choose a monologue with which they'd like to
work and bring it with them to the workshop. It is not necessary to
memorize the entire speech, but participants should memorize the
first 5 lines or so.
