Becoming a Sponsor

The Dramateurs, Inc. of Jeffersonville, Pennsylvania is a 501(c)3 non-profit, educational organization emphasizing the arts, especially community theater.  We have been performing, teaching children's workshops, and enhancing the community artistically for 72 years.  Our members are volunteers who represent a diverse range of ages and professions and live throughout the Delaware Valley. Our organization has made a commitment to upgrade the cultural opportunities in the Norristown area.

To continue our mission, we must continuously renovate and maintain our historic facility, The Barn Playhouse, located on the corner of Rittenhouse Boulevard and Christopher Street, as well as enhance the outside property.  Our goal continues to be the expansion of our program offerings, as well as improving the facility for the comfort and accessibility of our patrons.

Barn Fundraising Activities

In addition to ticket sales and sponsorships, you can help support our organization in any of the following ways:

Benefit Performances: We invite you to experience great entertainment at a phenomenal discount.  If your organization is looking for a unique fund-raising opportunity, special performances of our shows are available.  Prices and scheduling information may be obtained by calling (610) 539-BARN.  Please select voice mail option #4.

Corporate Sponsors: Companies who wish to support theater in the Norristown area will receive significant public visibility when sponsoring a production.  For more information, call the us at 610-539-BARN.

Matching Gifts: Members and season tickets holders are asked to check with their employer to see if their company will match charitable donations.

Pennies for PECO: Along with the welcomed air-conditioning came a significantly larger electric bill.  To meet this challenge, we invite our patrons to donate those pennies that accumulate by tossing them into the collection box in our lobby. Of course, donations in any denomination of coin or paper are welcome.

Haunted Theater: The Haunted Theater, an annual event held for several years until 1998, was our most successful fund-raiser. This October event entertained and scared thousands of area customers and raised well over $100,000 for our organization.
