MEET THE CAST
MATT BARTOLOTTA
Matt is thrilled to be returning to the Barn for his second show. Matt has been in shows such as Into the Woods (Rapunzels Prince), The Secret Garden (Archibald Craven), Jekyll and Hyde (Jekyll and Hyde), and The Hunchback of Notre Dame (Quasimodo). He is incredibly excited to be involved in the reopening of The Barn Playhouse after the COVID-19 shutdown. Matt would like to thank the cast, director, musical director, and choreographer for making this such an enjoyable experience.
TONY DECARLO
Tony is thrilled to be back on stage at the Barn Playhouse after the pandemic-imposed hiatus. In the “before” times, you may have seen him in the Barn’s 2019 productions of First Date, in which he played the waiter and several other parts and in 25 th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, where he played Vice Principal Panch. A veteran of the stage, Tony has performed in numerous productions over many years. Among his previous credits, some of his favorite performances include Anthony Hope (Sweeney Todd), Pippin (Pippin), John Adams (1776), Simon Zealots (Jesus Christ Superstar), Baby John (West Side Story), Richard Miller (Ah, Wilderness!), Jimmy Farrell (Playboy of the Western World), and Bertram Cates (Inherit the Wind). Tony is a commercial banker by day and lives in Bryn Mawr with his wife, daughter, excitable corgi, and beleaguered cat. He’d like to thank the cast and crew for their support, his family for their love and encouragement, and you, dear audience members, for supporting local community theater.
SARAH FOLSOM-KOVARIK
Sarah is a native of Tallahassee, FL, where she performed throughout high school with Young Actors Theatre, then completed her bachelor's in music at Florida State University. She sings with The Choristers, where she is a board member, and The Philadelphia Chorus, where she has often been a featured soloist. You might have seen her live in Bucks County Gilbert and Sullivan Society's The Sorcerer (Constance), Methacton Community Theater's The Addams Family (Alice), Ghostlight Theater's Into the Woods (Cinderella's Mother), Savoy Company’s Yeoman of the Guard, and Everybody's Theater Company’s Sweeney Todd. Other favorite shows include Pippin (Berthe), Cinderella (Queen), Hunchback of Notre Dame, Annie, and Godspell. She was also featured in recent virtual cabarets by ETC, BCG&S, and Ghostlight, in University of Michigan G&S Society's virtual Trial by Jury, and in MCT’s virtual radio play It’s A Wonderful Life (Clara Oddbody). Sarah is very excited to be performing again in person, and in her first show with the Barn Playhouse!
CHRISTINE FUREY
Christine is excited to be performing on stage again at The Barn! She was recently seen as Viola/Cesario in Methacton Community Theater’s production of Twelfth Night. Other performances include Leading Ladies (Meg Snider), Beauty and the Beast (Babette), Promises, Promises (Fran Kubelik), Gypsy (Dainty June), Bury the Dead (Mrs. Dean), Our Town (The Stage Manager), 8 (Maggie Gallagher), The Women (Miriam Aarons), Legally Blonde the Musical (Paulette Bonafonté), Dog Sees God (Marcy), and Teibele and Her Demon (Teibele).
Christine would like to thank her family and friends as well as the cast and crew for their endless love and support.
SHANNA GATES
A Night of Broadway marks Shanna's 28th year of performing at the Barn. She was last seen as Mary Magdalene in the 2016 production of Jesus Christ Superstar. Some of her past Barn roles include Anything Goes (Reno Sweeney), Jekyll and Hyde (Emma Carew), A Chorus Line (Cassie), Spamalot (Lady of the Lake), Bye Bye Birdie (Rosie Alvarez), Assassins (Squeaky Fromme) & Chess (Florence Vassy). Shanna Lives in Gilbertsville Pa and is a graduate of Wagner College in Staten Island, NY with a BA in Speech and Theatre. She works managing Clinical Trials for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals and is the proud mom to 2 beautiful daughters, Gianna and Gemma. She is excited to be back on stage after a long hiatus, and would like to thank her family and friends, for their love and support. Lastly, a special thank you to Tom for always being an honest and supportive friend /director and for reminding her how much she loves being on stage.
JULIE KREMM
Julie is easily recognizable for her petite frame, high soprano voice and larger-than life quirky personality on and off stage. She has been acting on stage since she was six years old and was active in school choirs and musicals. While Broadway and Disney music were her first loves, she discovered a passion for opera at the age of seventeen, singing the Mother in Amahl and The Night Visitors and knew she had found her calling. She earned her Master’s degree in Music (Voice Performance) from West Virginia University and now studies privately with renowned mezzo-soprano Mignon Dunn. Favorite roles performed include Clorinda (La Cenerentola), Adele (Die Fledermaus), Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Blonde (Die Entführung aus dem Serail) and Just Jeanette (Too Many Sopranos). Recent engagements: Gretel (Hansel and Gretel) with Berks Opera, and Queen of the Night in Die Zauberflöte with Bay View Music Festival in Michigan.
JUSTIN LAMPHERE
Justin is very excited to be a part of the re-opening of the Barn and this production! Although he’s the youngest member of the cast, he is no stranger to the theater with his first performance at age 11 way back in 2014 in the Youth Production of The Little Mermaid Jr. Since that time, he’s appeared in several more productions including Addams Family (Pugsley), Seussical Jr. (Horton), and Footloose (Coach Dunbar). Other roles in high school included Beauty and the Beast (Lumiere) and Into the Woods (the Wolf). Justin is now attending Bucks County Community College. He would like to thank his dad for doing an amazing job putting this production together and the rest of his family for being the most supportive people to him! He’d also like to thank the entire cast and crew for being incredible to work with and for doing an amazing job to make this show a lot of fun!
TOM LAMPHERE
Tom is thrilled to return to the Barn Playhouse for the “A Night of Broadway” as both director and performer. He’s had the pleasure of performing here at the Barn in the past in productions of Blood Brothers, Chess, Children of Eden and, most recently, “Monsters of Broadway”. Tom has had the pleasure of performing on other area stages in numerous musicals over the past 30 years. Favorite performances include Jekyll & Hyde: The Musical (Jekyll/Hyde), Pippin (Pippin), Godspell (Jesus), Shrek – The Musical (Shrek) and Jesus Christ Superstar (Jesus). He’d like to thank his wife Rose for her constant support and his incredible cast for all the time and work they put into this production. Special thanks to Brittany for stepping in with little notice to serve as our choreographer and top cheer leader and to Robert for not only performing in the production but for serving as musical director for this challenging production!
EMILYANNE MCDERMOTT
Emily is thrilled to be making her Barn Playhouse debut! She is a recent East Stroudsburg University graduate and has been doing theatre for almost fifteen years. She has performed in a variety of leading and supporting roles in both musicals and plays including Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), Caitlin Gabriel (The Library), and Skyler (Good Kids). She would like to thank the cast and crew for welcoming her with open arms and her family for supporting her on her theatrical journey, especially her father who sent her the audition notice for this show!”
BRITTANY RECUPERO
Brittany has no words to describe how excited she is that The Barn is reopening! Although she’s normally seen on stage, she was happy to have served as the Choreographer for a “A Night of Broadway”. Previous credits from the past nine years at the Barn include Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey), Catch Me If You Can (Brenda), Spring Awakening (Anna), directing serval of the youth productions!Brittany has also been directing middle school and high school students over the last ten years. By day, she is a postural alignment therapist, and social media manager working for her parents in Fort Washington. Gotta love the family business!
The Barn will always hold a special place in her heart. It was here she was able to perform her dream role along side her wonderful husband! Seymour and Audrey forever! Love and thanks to friends, family and as always, the leading man of life-Paul! Enjoy the show, and welcome home!
ANDREW SHEPARD
Andrew is very excited to be returning to performing, as well as making his debut with the Barn Playhouse in the “Night of Broadway’ cabaret. Originally from Rockland County, Andrew moved to Philadelphia in 2018 to work as a Quality Assurance Software tester, and he brought his love for performing in theatre in his spare time with him. Since moving, he has performed with Methacton, Narbeth, and Spotlight Theatre, with his most recent theatre credits being ‘West Side Story’ (Baby John), ‘Billy Elliot’ (Miner/Posh Dad/Scab), and ‘Beauty and the Beast’ (Beast). Later this fall he will be starring in Footloose with Viviana Theatre as Chuck Cranston/Lyle, as well as his dream role of Seymour Krelborn in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ with Barnstormers Theatre. He is very happy to be performing alongside his friends again, and looks forward to more great opportunities to perform for the community!
MADDI SLOAN
Maddi is thrilled to be back performing at the Barn for her 14th show in this theater! She began performing with the Barn 8 years ago, and is so glad to be back in her "home away from home". Her first performance with the Barn was in A Midsummer’s Night Dream, directed by Deb Braak. More recently, she performed in 2019 production of First Date and the final 2019 showcase Monsters of Broadway. She was cast in the 2020 production Shrek the Musical which was ultimately cancelled and is excited to be part of A Night of Broadway reteaming with director Tom Lamphere and fell cast members Matt, Vince, Tony and Justin.
When not on stage, Maddi is a Veterinary Technician at a local vet hospital. She’d like to thank all those involved in making this show happen and helping us all get back to our happy place!

VINCE VUONO
Vince is thrilled to be back on stage after a long (forced) absence! Vince was previously seen on the Barn stage as Eddie in Mamma Mia and Chip in 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Vince has also been seen in the ensemble of Drowsy Chaperone at NCT, as Sandeep in Legally Blonde at Footlighters Theater, and as Chuck Baxter in Promises, Promises at Spotlight Theater. Vince would like to thank the entire cast and crew for a phenomenal return to the stage, as well as his family, including his wonderful wife Cassidy.
